Job Description
We are looking for a Desktop Support Administrator responsible for building/deploying Tablets, desktop and laptops images using Microsoft Deployment toolkit, Intune and Azure Active Directory. Tablet deployment experience is a must. The client uses Samsung Tablets. They recently migrated from Samsung A9 to Active 5. Must have intune and Azure Active Directory MUST live in NYC or surrounding boroughs and ideally have a car for occasional travel to other work locations. Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and enterprise applications; resolve incidents in a timely manner using ServiceNow ticketing systems. Administer and support a hybrid environment integrating on-prem Active Directory with Microsoft Azure Active Directory and Microsoft 365 Manage device lifecycle using Microsoft Intune, including provisioning, configuration, policy deployment, and troubleshooting Deploy and configure devices using Windows Autopilot to streamline onboarding and reduce manual effort Perform user onboarding and offboarding, including account provisioning, access deactivation, and security group management Support and manage BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) environments, including enrollment and configuration of iOS and Android devices using Intune MDM/MAM policies Ensure security measures such as Conditional Access, device compliance policies, BitLocker encryption, antivirus, and firewall configurations are in compliant Support Windows 10/11 migration projects, ensuring smooth transition from legacy systems while maintaining application compatibility and data integrity Assist users with device setup, mobile activations, and general troubleshooting across various platforms Install, configure, and support hardware such as laptops, printers, and peripherals Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, resolutions, and system configurations Work closely with vendors, carrier account teams, and remote staff to resolve technical and service-related issues
