Who you are Proven expertise in AWS environments, including infra build and optimization. Skilled in IaaS based TCP/IP networking protocols and associated components like transit gateway (tgw), vpc, security groups, and Route tables 3+ years deploying distributed apps with containers (Docker) & orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS, GKE) 3+ years development experience in Infrastructure as code and config management such as Terraform and/or Ansible 3+ years Linux system engineering experience 2+ years developing or managing infrastructure and application security for Highly Sensitive Customer Data & Environments (IAM, CI/CD, PKI) 3+ years experience deploying with a CI orchestration service (Spinnaker, Jenkins) 2+ years working experience scripting/programming language (Shell, Python, Golang) Experience with Log Management and Analytics tools such as Splunk / ELK A demonstrated, genuine AI-first approach to engineering. Using AI to move faster, build fluency across the stack, and contribute well beyond your core specialty Experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, Cursor, etc.) in development workflows Advanced prompt engineering skills and the ability to write precise, structured prompts and cultivate the system context that makes AI outputs reliable, secure, and production-ready Possesses strong analytical skills and a dedication to ongoing professional development Demonstrates excellent interpersonal abilities with proficiency in both written and oral communication Background in production service management, including on-call/PagerDuty rotations and the monitoring and alerting of service-specific SLIs and SLOs Experience in any of the monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus, etc Experience developing security & compliance into pipelines such as (OPA, Checkov, Twistlock, Prisma) This candidate must be a U.S. citizen (U.S. born or naturalized) who does not hold dual citizenship and agrees to complete a U.S. federal government Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) for a Moderate Public Trust position What the job involves We are looking for an experienced DevOps engineer to join a team of highly skilled Systems, Site Reliability, and DevOps Engineers working on service availability and performance Our goal is a simple one: ensure maximum availability of Salesforce’s Government Cloud infrastructure through proactive enhancements, adept troubleshooting and ensuring security compliance Equally important is advanced prompt engineering — the ability to write precise, structured prompts and cultivate the system context that makes AI outputs reliable, secure, and production-ready If you have a passion for problem solving, quickly diagnosing root causes and ensuring the resiliency of production systems, this role is for you!
