Security Officer - Diablo Grande Golf Course Community Position Summary Diablo Grande Golf Course Community is seeking a polished, service-oriented Security Officer to support the safety, privacy, and overall experience of our residents and guests.This role is integral to preserving the integrity of our gated luxury community by ensuring a secure, discreet, and welcoming environment.The ideal candidate combines strong security awareness with a hospitality-driven mindset, demonstrating professionalism, tact, and exceptional interpersonal skills at all times.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Monitor and operate advanced surveillance systems, including CCTV and gate access technologies, to maintain continuous situational awareness.Manage gated access points, verifying credentials and courteously assisting residents, guests, contractors, and vendors.Conduct routine patrols of residential areas, clubhouse facilities, golf course grounds, and common spaces to identify potential safety concerns or security risks.Respond promptly and discreetly to incidents, disturbances, or emergency situations, coordinating with local law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.Enforce community rules, policies, and safety procedures with professionalism and diplomacy.Provide a visible security presence while delivering a welcoming and service-oriented experience.Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports, daily logs, and activity documentation to maintain accountability and compliance.Support loss prevention and property protection efforts, safeguarding community assets and amenities.Qualifications and Requirements Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military service, hospitality security, or private community security preferred.Familiarity with gated access control systems, surveillance technologies, and residential community security protocols.Exceptional communication and customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with high-profile residents and guests.Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation abilities.Ability to remain vigilant, composed, and professional during extended shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.High degree of integrity, discretion, and respect for resident privacy.Valid security license (as required by state regulations) preferred.Professional Standards As a representative of Diablo Grande, the Security Officer is expected to maintain a polished appearance, exercise discretion, and uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism.This role requires a balance of firm security enforcement and refined hospitality service, ensuring residents and guests feel both protected and valued.Diablo Grande is committed to supporting our team members through comprehensive training and continued professional development, fostering a culture of excellence within our luxury community.Job Type:Part-time Pay:$18.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours:16 - 40 per week Benefits:401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Vision insurance Work Location:In person.
