Job Description
JOB Nature of Work: This is a diesel mechanic position. Employees in this class assist with preventative maintenance and repairs of diesel and gas equipment. Employees are tasked with making mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical repairs on equipment such as light and heavy trucks, excavators, loaders, skid steers, small engines, and more. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES Essential Job Duties: Performs preventative maintenance and machine inspectionsTroubleshoots issues with gas and diesel enginesDetermines parts and tools necessary for and performs mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical repairs.Completes service paperworkMaintains a clean and safe work area
