This role is responsible for overseeing daily foodservice operations, ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations, maintaining high standards of food quality and safety, and supporting a positive dining experience for residents. Rate: $39/hr (Salaried) Responsibilities Oversee daily foodservice operations in accordance with company policies and federal/state regulations Ensure food quality, safety, sanitation, inventory control, and customer service standards are consistently met Maintain records related to budgets, supplies, staffing, equipment, and departmental operations Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate supplies are available at all times Train, supervise, and support dietary staff; assist with hiring recommendations and performance management Serve as the primary liaison between facility leadership and dietary staff Communicate operational updates and expectations clearly to team members Assist in dietary aide, cook, and dishwasher duties as needed to support staffing coverage Conduct routine kitchen inspections and quality control reviews to ensure compliance with company standards Promote a professional, team-oriented work environment Support company mission, values, and resident-centered care initiatives Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Associate degree or higher in Food Service Management, Hospitality, Nutrition, or a related field preferred Current ServSafe Certification required (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire, in accordance with state/local requirements) Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or Certified Food Service Manager certification required, as applicable by state and CMS regulations Minimum 2 years of experience in large-scale food production, dietary services, or nutrition services preferred Previous supervisory or management experience preferred Knowledge of nutrition, food safety, sanitation standards, and foodservice operations Ability to interpret nutrient analysis reports and manage departmental budgets Strong organizational, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Basic computer proficiency, including web-based reporting systems Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Physical Requirements Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds Ability to stand, walk, bend, and sit for extended periods throughout the workday Golden Legacy Care Center is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating a supportive and inclusive workplace for all employees.
