Description of Essential Functions Teaching (90% of Time) Teach various courses in Digital Design. Use instructional methodology appropriate to the audience and to the student (e.g., lecture, demonstration, group discussion, technology-enhanced delivery, computer-assisted delivery, and distance delivery). Must be able to explain and deliver materials in a variety of ways to meet the needs of a broad range of learning activities. Evaluate students in accordance with the criteria in the course outline and other applicable college policies and procedures. Is responsible for turning in grades according to college policy and procedure. Create a course syllabus for each course taught which includes, but is not limited to, course outcomes, course structure, materials to be covered, grading criteria, due dates for materials, exam dates and office hours. General Duties (10% of Time) Work effectively with colleagues and students of various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, demonstrating an ability to work with others in a courteous and cooperative fashion. Ensure compliance with all Southwestern Oregon Community College rules, regulations, and policies.
