Job Overview Strategy Lab Marketing Group is looking for a motivated Digital Marketing Sales Representative to help us connect with local business owners and sell modern marketing solutions that drive measurable growth. In this role, you will prospect businesses, start conversations, identify marketing problems, and present Strategy Lab’s services as practical solutions. Our offerings include websites, CRM systems, lead generation campaigns, automation, AI chat, voice AI, Google Business Profile optimization, SEO, social media, and ongoing marketing management. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys sales, understands the value of digital marketing, and can explain technology in a simple, business-owner-friendly way. You do not need to be a technical expert, but you should be comfortable discussing how better marketing systems can help businesses generate leads, improve follow-up, and grow revenue. We are looking for someone who is self-driven, professional, persistent, and excited about helping businesses modernize their marketing. This is a performance-focused opportunity with strong earning potential for the right person. Duties Prospect and connect with local business owners through phone calls, email, social media, networking, referrals, and in-person outreach. Generate new business opportunities for Strategy Lab’s digital marketing, AI, automation, website, CRM, lead generation, SEO, and social media services. Have discovery conversations with prospective clients to understand their current marketing challenges, lead flow, follow-up process, website performance, and growth goals. Clearly explain Strategy Lab’s marketing solutions in a way that business owners can understand, with a focus on leads, automation, missed opportunities, follow-up, and measurable growth. Present appropriate service packages based on the client’s needs, including Catalyst, Labfinity IQ Engine™, lead generation campaign management, Marketing Manager Elite, Voice AI, and a la carte services. Follow up with prospects consistently and professionally to move opportunities through the sales pipeline. Help prepare proposals, estimates, and sales recommendations for prospective clients. Negotiate pricing and service terms within company-approved guidelines. Close new clients and assist with the handoff to the Strategy Lab team for onboarding. Maintain accurate notes, lead status, follow-up tasks, and deal information inside the company CRM. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, referral partners, and local business contacts. Identify opportunities to expand existing client accounts through additional services, upgrades, or ongoing marketing support. Stay informed on Strategy Lab’s service offerings, sales process, target industries, and competitive positioning. Represent Strategy Lab professionally in the community and help strengthen the agency’s local presence. Qualifications Previous sales experience preferred, especially in B2B sales, digital marketing, advertising, technology, media, real estate, insurance, or local service industries. Comfortable speaking with business owners, decision-makers, and professionals about growth, marketing, lead generation, and missed opportunities. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain marketing and technology in a simple, practical way. Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently without constant supervision. Confident making calls, sending follow-ups, networking, and starting conversations with prospective clients. Ability to build rapport quickly and maintain professional relationships with prospects, clients, and referral partners. Basic understanding of digital marketing services such as websites, SEO, Google Business Profiles, social media, paid ads, CRM systems, automation, and AI tools is preferred. Comfortable using a CRM or willing to learn how to track leads, notes, follow-ups, and opportunities. Strong follow-up skills and the ability to manage multiple prospects at different stages of the sales process. Ability to listen to client needs, identify problems, and recommend appropriate solutions. Professional, reliable, and positive attitude. Must be comfortable with performance-based compensation and motivated by earning potential. Local business connections or experience selling to small and medium-sized businesses is a plus.
