Summary 'We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Staff to join our team at Kirby's Place in the US. In this role, you will provide essential therapeutic care and support to children aged 8 to 17 in a structured, homelike environment. Your efforts will directly contribute to helping children develop vital life skills and overcome personal challenges.' Responsibilities ' Provide daily therapeutic care and supervision for children in a residential setting. Observe and monitor children's behavior, documenting progress and concerns. Assist children with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and hygiene. Support behavioral modification programs and social skill development. Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment. Collaborate with licensed professionals to implement individualized care plans. Respond promptly to emergencies with appropriate first aid or CPR when necessary. Foster positive relationships that promote trust and emotional well-being.' Qualifications ' Prior experience working in group homes or residential settings preferred. Knowledge of child development, behavioral health, or related fields is a plus. Certification in CPR and First Aid required. Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Strong observational skills and patience.
