Direct Support Professional (DSP) Part-Time

Job Summary Training rate:$16.90 - $18.21 We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and positive individual to join our team as a Direct Support Professional.In this role, you will support an enthusiastic young woman living in her own home.This position is centered around building a meaningful connection while supporting daily routines, community involvement, and life skills in a safe, respectful, and encouraging environment Responsibilities Supervise and provide occasional hands-on suppprt with ADLs including:Meal planning, preparing and healthy choices Light housekeeping and laundry Personal care (bathing,dressing, grooming) Support community access, including outings and daily walks (up to 45 minutes) Transport client safely in the community (mileage reimbursed) Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment Engage in meaningful activities and encourage new interests Complete daily care logs and communicate with team members Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Must be 18 years or older Ability to pass a background check Valid California driver's license with an acceptable driving record Reliable, registered, and insured vehicle Qualifications Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities (preferred) CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Compassionate, patient, and dependable Comfortable assisting with personal care Ability to lift up to 40 lbs Ability to walk for extended periods (up to 45 minutes) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Genuinely curious and respectful in supporting others If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities and are genuinely curious about the people you support, we encourage you to apply for the Direct Support Professional position.Benefits ?
