Royal Community Supports is looking for a self-motivated, energetic Direct Support Professional to support an individual who lives in Clinton, New Jersey Clinton/Hunterdon County - Seeking an experienced and LOCAL Direct Support Professional / DSP who is looking for a Direct Support Professional / DSP role focused on connections in the community. Spend 1-2 evenings a week hanging with a person who has a diverse palate of interests - anything from grabbing a non-alcoholic beer at the local pub to shooting pool, doing some bowling, attending cultural and musical events - spend your Direct Support Professional / DSP time with someone who enjoys the simple things in life that most adults do...Great Direct Support Professional / DSP position for someone who enjoys those kinds of things, too. Flexible evening hours - will work with the right candidate for the right schedule. Must have a reliable vehicle and clean driving record and have a track record of consistency in providing support. Be a DSP who is a community connector and fun time chaser. $24/hr. Schedule of Services: 1-2 evenings a week- Flexible Evening Hours Qualifications: Must be able to recognize that disability is a label and not a description Must be person centered minded Staff need to be open minded and come with a positive attitude Staff must remember that you are working for a person and not a label Must be 18 years old or older Minimum of a High school diploma or equivalent Must have a car Must have valid driver's license and good driving record Must be willing to have a background check Must be willing to take a drug screening Must be authorized to legally work in the United States Starting Pay Rate: $24 per hour Code: RBRIPLU
