Direct Support Professional / Job Coach Ability Solutions is seeking a compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Job Coach to provide support in both community and facility-based settings. This position supports individuals with disabilities through Community Day Services and employment services, helping them build independence, workplace skills, social connections, and meaningful community involvement. This role includes providing support during community activities, at facility-based programs, and at community job sites. Candidates should be comfortable working independently, encouraging positive outcomes, and maintaining professional communication with participants, families, employers, and team members. Responsibilities Provide direct support to individuals in community and facility-based settings Assist individuals with developing social, communication, employment, and independent living skills Provide job coaching and workplace support at community job sites Support participation in community activities, volunteer opportunities, and skill-building programs Transport individuals safely to community activities, work sites, and appointments as needed Complete daily documentation, activity logs, and progress notes using basic computer systems Encourage community inclusion, self-advocacy, and positive behavioral supports Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and person-centered services Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, employers, and caregivers Qualifications Valid driver’s license required Reliable transportation required Ability to use basic computer programs for documentation and activity tracking Strong communication and interpersonal skills Dependable, patient, and organized Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred, but willing to train the right candidate Schedule Up to full-time hours available Flexible daytime weekday scheduling Benefits Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community Supportive and team-oriented work environment Paid training provided Opportunities for professional growth and advancement We are looking for individuals who are positive, motivated, and passionate about helping others succeed in their community, workplace, and daily lives.
