Direct Support Professional

Supporting and encouraging clients in center-based activities (recreational, vocational, social). May assist with toileting, grooming, dressing, and hygiene tasks according to individuals' needs and preferences and stated goals. May assist with individuals' mealtime activities according to needs, preferences and stated goals. Teach daily living skills, social skills, and vocational skills. Core competencies: Must have high level of care for individuals with unique needs. Communication: Ability to work with individuals who are verbal and non-verbal, some with the use of assistive devices. Flexibility and Dependability: Adaptable to changing routines and reliable for daily care and committed to providing continuous care for our unique individuals. #SACM
