Job Description
The Role The Director, AI Enabled Content Services: Owns client relationships, executive interviews, content services revenue, client and member retention, editorial standards, final approval, and AI-Editor Agent prompting, usage, tuning and governance. The Director leads a small team committed to publishing, syndicating, curating and repurposing compelling editorial and event aligned content each week focused on the vision, direction and adoption of SAP ERP and the broader enterprise technology landscape. The Director leads the creation, publishing, printing and distribution of all digital and print content, magazines, newsletters, blog posts and daily news on www.SAPinsider.organd www.ERP.today websites. Commercial ownership is the central function : This senior content leadership role must understand client objectives, audience conversion paths, sponsor value, renewal risks and how content services contribute to revenue retention. Executive interviewing skills are a core differentiator : AI can summarize and draft, but it cannot independently build trust with CIOs, CMO’s, CISO’s, Enterprise Architects and the broader SAP ERP customer teams, event speakers, research analysts, and vendor executives. The human relationship layer with commercial experiences in this role is far more valuable than writing skills. AI-agent orchestration is a management skill requirement : The role and our approach is not a “write with AI” content model. Our content model is to manage a network of AI Editor Agents for research, drafting, editing, formatting, repurposing, publishing, social packaging, video/audio clipping, SEO AEO, and performance reporting and feedback. Daily market intelligence with emotional empathy and connection is a core content product mission : The senior content leader must drive the publishing of short, emotionally filled, frequent, high-relevance market insights, not only long-form client deliverables. This supports audience habit formation and gives SAPinsider and ERP Today more timely market authority and direct emotional connection with every reader while building momentum and fear of missing out for every event. Quality control and writing experience is operational table stakes : At higher content volumes, the content team owns content standards, reviews workflows, finish editing, factual verification, source integrity, tone, emotional journey connection, client positioning, disclosure rules, company brand principles and final publishing readiness. The Director, AI Enabled Content Services Reports Directly to the Chairman & CEO and owns Day to Day Content Responsibilities including: Team leadership : Lead a high velocity, committed content team that owns revenue, retention, member traffic, event integration and overall growth as the primary accountable outcome for our content. Building relationships: Interview senior executives, SAP customers, speakers, and vendor leaders and connect on an emotional and personal level with each. Extracting insight: Ask better questions, identify what matters, and turn vague executive messaging into useful market-facing content with personal context. Protecting trust: Verify claims, prevent AI slop, maintain SAPinsider and ERP Today editorial standards, and avoid MAP and event session sponsor content that feels like generic vendor promotion. Driving revenue: Understand client goals, campaign commitments, renewal risk, and how content services drive and assure retention. Own the MAP and Article revenue goals and annual retention requirements. Managing AI production: Design prompts, review outputs, improve workflows, manage publishing cadence, create a portfolio of derivative content and formats, and enforce QA. Packaging content commercially: Turn one interview into MAP Content Services, category blog posts, digital magazine content, Q&A posts, video posts, audio posts, social tiles, newsletters, and event-related assets. Using analytics, not administering them: AI can surface conversion and SEO, AEO recommendations, but humans still need to decide what action matters commercially. Professional Qualifications The ideal candidate must have proven mastery of the below skills and experiences. All are required for the role: Ownership of a revenue-driven content services function Experience with integrating content into all formats of Read, Watch,
