The Role The Director: Owns client relationships, executive interviews, research services revenue, client and member retention, research standards, survey data ceation and analysis, final approval, and AI-Editor Agent prompting, usage, tuning and governance for all Research Services delivered. The Director is committed to quantitative and qualitative researching, report and brief publishing, content syndicating, curating and repurposing compelling research, editorial and event aligned content each week focused on the vision, direction and adoption of SAP ERP and the broader enterprise technology landscape. The Director leads the creation, publishing of research reports, taxonomy content coverage, vendor briefs and Member interviews on www.SAPinsider.org website. The Director is a Commercial Revenue First leader with strong thought leadership and deep understanding of the SAP ERP and enterprise technology landscape. Commercial ownership is the central function : This senior content leadership role must understand client objectives, audience conversion paths, sponsor value, renewal risks and how content services contribute to revenue retention. Executive interviewing skills are a core differentiator : AI can summarize and draft, but it cannot independently build trust with CIOs, CMO’s, CISO’s, Enterprise Architects and the broader SAP ERP customer teams, event speakers, research analysts, and vendor executives. The human relationship layer with commercial experiences in this role is far more valuable than researching and writing skills. AI-agent orchestration is a management skill requirement : The role and our approach is not a “write and research with AI” content model. Our content model is to manage a network of AI Analyst and Editor Agents for researching, drafting, editing, formatting, repurposing, publishing, social packaging, video/audio clipping, SEO AEO, and performance reporting and feedback. Daily market intelligence with emotional empathy and connection is a core content product mission : The Director must drive the data packaging, technology and process benchmarking, publishing of short, emotionally filled, frequent, high-relevance market insights, not only long-form client deliverables. This supports audience habit formation and gives SAPinsider more timely market authority and direct emotional connection with every reader while building momentum and fear of missing out for every event. Quality control. research skills, technology command and writing experience is operational table stakes : At higher content volumes, the Director owns research standards, reviews workflows, finish editing, factual verification, source integrity, tone, emotional journey connection, client positioning, disclosure rules, company brand principles and final publishing readiness. The Director reports directly to the Chief Research Officer and owns day to day research responsibilities including: Revenue Goal Attainment The Director is responsible for hitting revenue goals each month in their respective research coverage area. This is achieved by having a robust research agenda of 8 reports annually that is updated quarterly and showcases a rolling 4 quarters of research. The research agenda must be a foundation stone in our overall company content hierarchy and address the top issues facing our end user community and our vendor partners solution focus. The research agenda is built on the Rule of 25’s Methodology and orientates on a continuous researching approach across the full year for each research topic being addressed. The Director is directly responsible for briefing each of the aligned Rule of 25 vendors 6-12 months prior to every sponsored research report and leveraging AI Analyst and Editor Agent services to publish written, reports, briefs, video posts and podcast posts on each vendor briefing. AI enabled Research Services directly under your accountability Sponsored Research Reports – each Director on the research team is expected to conduct 8 Benchmark reports annually with a minimum revenue expectation of $80,000 per report Each report has more than 150 qualified surveys completed, and more than 500 qualified leads delivered to sponsors Articles and Case Study publishing – each to be completed within 90 days of contracting Research Services – includes Spotlight Reports, Custom Research projects, Analyst speaking in webinars and client events – each to be completed within 90 days Expert Series – 3 session series of topics moderated by analysts – each to be completed within 90 days <
