Job Summary Director of Behavioral Health Inpatient Programs is responsible for the 24/7 operations of the RCHSD Medical Social Work team; Health Psychologists, Child Life, BHUC and Psych ED. The Director works closely with the Senior Director of Behavioral Health to provide operational oversight of all Staff & Program needs. In addition, the Director is responsible for working closely with the leadership of the UCSD Division of Child Psychiatry. The Director oversees the clinical, programmatic and contractual activities of these programs including leading strategic clinical and business planning, efforts to support and engage employees; improve business controls and operations of all programs assigned. Assist in the development of the annual budgets, ensuringproductivity standards are met and metrics reported, human resource management, clinical evidence-based training development with the QI Director, staff scheduling, monitoring of fiscal performance, contract compliance and management. Coordinates department needs with RCHSD internal and external stakeholders. Responds to patient satisfaction/customer service recovery and complaint resolution. Assumes a variety of special projects and assignments as determined by the Senior Director. Represents the departments in both internal and external meetings and committees when necessary. Minimum Qualifications Master's Degree Area of Study in a Field Related to the Position 6 Years of Experience Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of California (LCSW) Preferred Qualifications 8 Years of Experience The current salary range for this position is $64.37 to $88.51 Rady Children’s Hospital is committed to compensation that is externally competitive and internally equitable.
