Director, Branch Management will develop and drive the development of the Freight Forwarding & Contract Logistics activities in the country. They will be responsible for driving the sales process and productivity for the Freight Forwarding and Contract Logistics divisions towards achievement of business targets across the region, product development and leading procurement. Key Accountabilities Manage all aspects of the business, including finance, HR, commercial activities, and operations, to drive profitability and growth within the country Full P&L responsibility Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize performance, aggressively increase market share, and maintain a competitive edge Foster a high‑performance culture and provide strong leadership to inspire and motivate the team towards achieving organizational goals Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, customers, and partners to enhance business partnerships and opportunities Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction Coordinate execution of global procurement strategy for freight forwarding at country level (end‑to‑end including inland logistics and depot as well as demurrage management) Provide guidelines to freight forwarding teams to properly translate global requirements regarding capacity management into region/country specific tasks and follow performance Develop plan for contract logistics growth in key sectors Direct and control activities performed to effectively manage end‑to‑end capacity for freight within the country (procure capacity, plan and control network) Develop and roll out corrective action plans when targets are not met Provide leadership in the areas of product and business development and resource utilization Set compliance standards in accordance with corporate/divisional guidelines and monitor adherence Liaise with sales to support interaction with key customers and providing pricing and margin guidance, support on bids and RFQs Ensure the maintenance of and adherence to health, safety and security standards in the workplace in line with corporate guidelines Ensure 100% control of GP and profit share Support region/country efforts in maintaining healthy relationships with trade bodies and government agencies & authorities Create, develop, and maintain good relationships with customers and service providers, while facilitating negotiations of best rates Maintain and support interdepartmental relationships Qualifications, Skills & Experience A minimum of 15+ years of experience in the logistics industry, with a proven track record of success in a senior leadership role In‑depth knowledge and understanding of logistics operations, and supply chain management Strong financial acumen and the ability to manage complex budgets, analyze financial data, and make data‑driven decisions Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to inspire and develop high‑performing teams Proven experience in driving business growth, identifying new market opportunities, and building strategic partnerships A visionary mindset, with the ability to anticipate industry trends, adapt to changes, and implement innovative solutions Salary Range Salary Range: $160,000 - $180,000. This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
