Remote - USA Job Description Responsible for identifying opportunities and selling the company’s services to customers in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. The Director of Business Development is expected to demonstrate initiative, proactive behavior, and the ability to navigate in a fast-paced environment. Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, this will lead sales strategy, business growth, customer relationship development and management, sales reporting and day-to-day Business Development activities for their customer base and territory. Responsibilities & Accountabilities Establish new client relationships and develop new business via various sales strategies. Actively manage specific current accounts directed by senior management. Maintain business relationships with existing clients. Expand on current business by creating awareness of and promoting our services. Research, identify, and pursue opportunities for additional business where appropriate. Review responses to Request for Proposals (RFP’s), Request for Information (RFI), executive summary and pricing in conjunction with other management personnel as appropriate. Track and report the status of all Sales activities in Salesforce as they occur. Create, edit, and deliver Sales Presentations. Managed assigned opportunities through the entire sales development life cycle from pre-RFP to contract execution. Work independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects, which may include planning and coordinating multiple presentations, disseminating information, coordinating direct mailings, creating brochures, etc. Participate in activities needed to support the management functions of the team. Achieve assigned sales targets. Lead development of marketing plans, sales plans, and competitive analysis as required by manager. Complete other tasks as directed by manager. Should have a minimum of 3 to 5 years’ imaging experience in a similar or complementary role, operational background (such as Project Management) preferable, sales experience preferred but not required. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and a self-starter. Some analytical ability is required to gather and summarize data for reports, find solutions to various administrative problems, and prioritize work. Attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines. Ability to foster strong teamwork internally to meet or exceed customer expectations. Excellent listening skills with demonstrated ability to discern key customer needs and communicate those needs to Voiant team members.
