ABOUT THE ROLE As the Director of Distribution & Logistics, you will serve as a key driver of Christy Sports’ Supply Chain strategy, overseeing the flow of merchandise across 7 distribution centers into more than 50 retail locations, and through e-commerce fulfillment in Colorado, Utah, Washington State & Montana. Reporting to the Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO), you will lead and evolve our Transportation, Omni-Channel Distribution Network, and end-to-end product lifecycle operations — from global inbound logistics through final delivery to the guest. In this role, you will partner closely with Merchandise, Planning & Allocations, Stores, Finance, and Supply Chain Leadership to build a distribution and logistics operation that is as dynamic as the outdoor lifestyle we serve. You will bring deep expertise in Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) and Omni-Channel fulfillment, Global Inbound & Outbound Logistics, and Distribution Operations to a team to support our company mission and values. RESPONSIBILITIES? ?Leadership, Talent & Culture?? Lead by example, moving the business forward through the collective talents and efforts of self and others. Set and communicate clear goals, expectations, and standards at all levels — from direct reports and associates to cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders. Empower leaders and managers to deliver results against established goals and priorities, fostering an environment of accountability, development, and operational excellence. Ensure the Supply Chain reflects the culture of Christy Sports, actively participating in initiatives that uphold our Mission, Vision, and Values. Grow internal talent pools and build healthy succession pipelines with consistent coaching, development and tapping into available training opportunities.?? Develop and strengthen leadership capability across the distribution and logistics organization through succession planning, manager coaching, and intentional talent development. Innovation & Operational Excellence?? Lead the development and execution of annual operational plans including budgets, capital investments, headcount, labor planning, and BC/DR strategies in collaboration with key cross-functional partners. Drive continuous improvement across all distribution and logistics operations, leveraging industry benchmarking, emerging technology, and automation to maximize efficiency and return on investment. Establish and maintain intelligent performance standards and KPIs; utilize data management and analytics frameworks to consistently meet or exceed Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Develop and execute strategies to effectively manage seasonal and peak volume fluctuations, optimizing our people as well as identifying labor costs. Leverage working knowledge of material handling equipment and DC software systems to ensure effective product flow through the facility. Own third-party service provider performance, including regular review of critical metrics, external report cards, and continuous improvement planning; partner with providers on pricing, space allocation, systems integrations, and routing strategies. Ensure operational alignment across all supporting functions — Merchandising, Planning, Stores, Finance, Marketing, IT,
