The Director of MACC-Hannibal shall be responsible for operations of the campus. This is a salaried, FLSA exempt position covered by the Public School Retirement System of Missouri. The Director must possess strong organizational and communication skills as well as the ability to solve problems, work collaboratively, multi-task, and meet deadlines. Bachelor’s degree required, a Master’s degree and background in higher education is preferred. Supervisory experience is desirable. Responsibilities Coordinate site operations and instructional programming and services; Provide leadership at MACC-Hannibal and work collaboratively with deans and department directors to ensure the quality of those services, including Academic Affairs, Workforce Development and Technical Education, Health Sciences, Instructional Technology, LARC, and Access & ADA Services; Be familiar with the curriculum, policies, and general operations of the College; Utilize College policies when making decisions; Maintain clear communications with faculty, staff, and college leadership; Provide information and guidance as needed to faculty and staff to assist them with making necessary decisions; Assist instructors with technology issues and classroom equipment; Build semester course schedules; Assist in the recruiting and hiring of adjunct instructors; Complete annual evaluations of Hannibal staff; Provide faculty orientation, training, and mentoring; Provide and support staff training as needed; Manage daily operations of MACC-Hannibal activities for the purpose of ensuring effective programs and services; Work with Instructional Technology and Computer Services to ensure technology needs of faculty, staff, and students are met; Advise students on both academic and career and tech program and student services issues; Conduct and supervise business office duties, such as receiving payments for fees and tuition; managing daily deposits, balancing and entering receipts, etc.; Assist students with the financial aid process; Serve on college committees; Serve on community, regional, and state committees; Coordinate building and classroom arrangements for internal and external requests; Support and participate in recruiting, retention, and transfer initiatives; Assist with coordination of partnerships with other institutions; Assist and supervise the bookstore request process; Proctor and supervise process and proctoring for HiSet, Accuplacer, TEAS, etc.; Assist with Advisory Committee meetings as needed; Responsible for reporting weather conditions to the Dean of Student Affairs and assist with making decisions to close due to inclement weather or hold a late start. Then, communicate with news media and employees; Responsible for supervising and reporting security issues and needs to the local police dept and the Director of Security; Responsible for Hannibal budget needs and reporting; Oversee plant operations and facility needs daily; Perform other duties as assigned.
