Monthly Celebrations and recognitions Medical, Vision, Dental Tuition Reimbursement up to $5000 per year Primary Responsibilities The Director of Admissions is responsible for the management of the facility’s inquiry and admissions process. The admissions coordinator is responsible for increasing quality census by educating the community, customers and referral sources of the long-term care benefits and admission process. Responsibilities Essential Functions The Director of Admissions will handle and implement employee, public relations and community initiatives Maintain high visibility of the facility in the community to project a resource image for issues of short or long-term health care Educate discharge planners, social workers, physician and other local health providers of the services/programs offered and bed availability Follow up on all inquiries to answer further questions on Medicare/Medicaid, billing, facility services, etc Coordinating all admission decisions through the Clinical Nurse Liaison, Director of Nursing or Administrator Maintain the confidentiality of all residents and their care to ensure resident rights, privacy and property are protected at all times All other duties as assigned IND123 Qualifications Minimum Qualifications/Requirements: A College Degree in Liberal Arts, Nursing/Social Service or Related Field At least six (6) months in a similar position
