Role Overview The Director of Assessment & Referral is responsible for overall system telephonic and in-person risk assessments (all locations – including MATs), ensuring appropriate levels of care with a preliminary diagnosis, facilitating the initial treatment plan with family, and implements crisis intervention techniques. In addition, the Director of Assessment & Referral ensures rapid facilitation of admissions and maintains communication with referral sources, families, patients, and unit staff in order to have a consistent and efficient admission process. Reporting duties include updating and distributing daily dashboard, MAT Schedule, midnight census and call-logs. Your Impact As the Director of Assessment & Referral (A&R) on our team, you'll: Direct and manage the daily operations of the A&R department Oversee the Admission process in its entirety of individuals after initial assessment Lead, coach, and develop department staff, including scheduling, performance management, and training Ensure 24/7 coverage for A&R services and appropriate staffing levels Orient patients and families to the treatment program.
