I’m partnering confidentially with a rapidly scaling, private equity-backed healthcare platform seeking a Director of FP&A to join a high-caliber finance team in the Dallas area. This organization has experienced significant, sustained growth , more than doubling its footprint and materially expanding revenue over the past few years through a disciplined acquisition strategy. The Opportunity This role sits at the intersection of strategic finance, operations, and M&A integration , reporting directly to senior finance leadership. You will lead and develop a team while partnering cross-functionally to drive performance, enhance visibility, and support executive decision-making. It’s a unique blend of: Core FP&A leadership Acquisition and integration support Operational finance and KPI development Executive-level storytelling and insight generation Why This Role Stands Out High-growth, well-capitalized platform with strong momentum and long-term backing Visible, strategic role with direct exposure to executive leadership Leadership opportunity overseeing and developing a growing team of Managers and Analysts Dynamic environment with meaningful impact across operations and acquisitions Clear path for continued growth over the next 2–3 years as the business scales What You’ll Be Doing Lead and develop a team of FP&A professionals , providing structure, mentorship, and direction Partner with operations, accounting, and regional leaders to enhance reporting, KPIs, and business insights Deliver executive-ready reporting and presentations for leadership and board-level audiences Drive forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations Support M&A activity and integration efforts , including modeling and performance tracking Build and refine systems, processes, and analytics capabilities to support scalability What We’re Looking For 8–10+ years of FP&A experience , ideally within a high-growth or evolving environment Prior people leadership experience with the ability to develop and guide Managers Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-demand setting Strong financial modeling, analytical, and storytelling capabilities Experience partnering with cross-functional and executive stakeholders Background in healthcare, consulting, or public accounting is a plus, not required Compensation & Structure Base salary in the $160K–$170K range (flexible for exceptional candidates) Target bonus of ~25% Hybrid schedule (4 days in-office) in Southlake The Ideal Profile This is a great fit for someone who thrives in high-growth environments , enjoys building structure within complexity, and wants to play a key role in shaping the future of a scaling organization.
