Position Summary The Director of Food & Beverage is responsible for the strategic leadership, operational execution, and financial performance of all dining, bar, and culinary experiences within the Club. This role ensures an exceptional, consistent, and personalized member experience while maintaining the highest standards of service, quality, and fiscal responsibility. The Director collaborates closely with the General Manager, Executive Chef, and department heads to align food and beverage operations with the Club’s vision and member expectations. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Culture Provide strong, visible leadership across all food & beverage outlets and operations Foster a culture of hospitality, accountability, and continuous improvement Recruit, train, mentor, and develop a high-performing team Lead by example in delivering exceptional member service and engagement Operations Management Oversee Dining Room, all bars, all beverage operations, and special events Ensure consistent execution of service standards and the Club’s “10 steps of service” Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and organization across all areas Collaborate with culinary leadership on menu development, presentation, and innovation Member Experience Actively engage with members to build relationships and gather feedback Ensure a personalized, anticipatory service culture Respond promptly and professionally to member concerns, using feedback as a training tool Drive programming that enhances member engagement (wine dinners, themed events, etc.) Beverage Programming & Club Oversight Oversee and continuously enhance the Club’s specialty beverage programs, including the Wine Club, Whiskey Club, Cocktail Club, and Beer Club Curate unique, high-quality experiences such as tastings, pairings, educational events, and exclusive member offerings Partner with mixologists and vendors to elevate programming and product selection Manage inventory, sourcing, and cost controls across all beverage categories Develop and execute a strategic calendar of events to drive participation and member engagement Financial Management Develop and manage annual budgets for all F&B operations Monitor financial performance, including revenue, cost of goods, labor, and profitability Implement cost-control measures while maintaining quality standards Analyze trends and adjust strategies to improve financial outcomes Strategic Planning Partner with senior leadership on long-term F&B strategy and capital planning Contribute to renovation and expansion projects (design, flow, and concept development) Evaluate and implement new technologies and service innovations Align F&B offerings with membership demographics and evolving expectations Compliance & Standards Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations Maintain proper licensing and certifications Enforce company policies, procedures, and brand/service standards Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field preferred 5–10+ years of progressive leadership experience in food & beverage, preferably in private clubs, luxury hotels, or high-end restaurants Proven track record of driving financial performance and operational excellence Strong knowledge of fine dining service, wine, spirits, and craft beverage programs Experience developing and managing specialty beverage programs or member clubs preferred Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to thrive in a member-focused, relationship-driven environment Core Competencies Member-Centric Mindset – anticipates ne
