Director of Food Services Job Summary: Crystal Lake Healthcare & Rehabilitation, a 235-bed facility located in Berkeley Township, New Jersey, is seeking a talented Director of Food Services to join our team. As a key member of our administration, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our patients receive high-quality meals that meet their individual needs. Responsibilities: Food Service Operations: Oversee the planning, preparation, and service of meals for patients, staff, and visitors, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards. Team Management: Supervise and mentor a team of food service staff, including cooks, servers, and dietary aides, to promote a positive and productive work environment. Menu Planning and Purchasing: Develop and implement menus that cater to patients' diverse dietary needs, while managing food inventory and supplies to minimize waste and optimize budget.
