Maintenance Director The Maintenance Director is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the maintenance operations for Boston Public Schools. This role ensures strategic alignment of maintenance practices, drives performance improvement initiatives, and champions safety and reliability across all maintenance activities. The Maintenance Director works closely with regional business and supports staff, senior management, and external clients to deliver exceptional maintenance services which drive safety, quality, value, and employee engagement/productivity. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership for maintenance operations across multiple regions. Align maintenance strategies with overall business objectives and goals. Develop long-term maintenance plans and policies to support company growth and sustainability. KPI Accountability: Establish, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate and enhance maintenance performance, vehicle reliability, safety standards, and cost management. Ensure regional directors are meeting their KPIs and support them in achieving these goals. Safety & Reliability: Develop and enforce robust safety protocols and procedures.
