About The Job Director of Nursing Location: Arlington Heights, IL (Plaza) Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week; Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. Weekend on call rotation Pay: $90,000-$110,00/year, negotiable Client is a non-profit, social services agency that is dedicated to providing innovative services, tools and opportunities to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities such as Autism and Down Syndrome. As the Director of Nursing (DON) , you will have the responsibility to provide nursing services to clients in the CILA Program in accordance with their needs. Provide medication administration training to employees per DHS guidelines and maintain caseload in accordance with Rule 116 and sound medical practices. The DON has responsibility for the integrity of the medical services of the program. Essential Functions Delegation of administration of medications and/or treatments to qualified competent, trained personnel as ordered by physician for clients on caseload. Monitor, direct, guide and evaluate outcomes of each delegated task. Participate as needed in the planning and implementation of client programming. Attend client staffings as needed. Coordinate clients' nursing needs with other CILA nurses. Detect signs of illness, dysfunction, or maladaptive behavior that warrant medical, nursing, or psychosocial intervention. Evaluate, in coordination with client's QIDP/Program Manager and Coordinators, client response to intervention and effectiveness of plan of care. Qualifications A minimum of a Nursing diploma, Bachelor's degree preferred..
