I. Position Overview The Director of Operational Excellence is responsible for driving company-wide improvements in operational efficiency and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This involves establishing a standardized, lean, and highly efficient operational system. By introducing advanced management methodologies—such as Lean Management and Six Sigma—the Director optimizes processes, reduces costs, and enhances both quality and customer satisfaction, thereby supporting the realization of the company's strategic objectives and long-term value growth. II. Core Responsibilities Operational Strategy & System Development Formulate and execute operational excellence strategies; establish a company-wide operational management framework and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure the organization operates with maximum efficiency. Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement Identify bottlenecks and waste within key business processes; spearhead Lean improvement initiatives and Six Sigma projects to continuously enhance operational efficiency and product/service quality. Performance Management & Data-Driven Decision-Making Develop a comprehensive system of operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)—covering areas such as production efficiency, lead times, and cost control—and leverage data analytics to support management decision-making. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Project Management Lead cross-functional operational improvement projects; coordinate efforts across teams (including Production, Supply Chain, Quality, and Finance) to ensure successful project implementation and the achievement of desired outcomes. Cost Optimization & Resource Allocation Analyze cost structures, formulate strategies to reduce costs and boost efficiency, optimize resource allocation, and maximize Return on Investment (ROI). Digitalization & Automation Advancement Drive the digital transformation of operations by introducing systems such as ERP and MES, or implementing automation tools, to enhance operational transparency and efficiency. Team Building & Capability Development Build and lead a high-performance operational team; cultivate a culture of Lean management and continuous improvement; and enhance the organization's overall execution capabilities. Risk Management & Compliance Control Identify potential operational risks; establish early warning and response mechanisms; and ensure that all operational activities remain in full compliance with relevant regulations and internal company policies. III. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree or higher; majors in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related fields are preferred. 20+ years of experience in operations management, including 5+ years of leadership experience specifically related to Operational Excellence or Lean Management. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies; possession of relevant certifications (e.g., Black Belt) is a plus. Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills. Strong capabilities in cross-functional communication and project facilitation. Familiarity with manufacturing, supply chain, or service operations environments is preferred. Proficiency in English communication (particularly if international business operations are involved). IV.
