Job Duties And Responsibilities Responsible for managing the front of house operations for the Restaurant and Front Desk Operations. Providing training, direction, supervision and hands on support Direct associates and supervisors to accomplish goals and objectives of the food and beverage operation and Front Desk Operations. Ensure the proper preparation of food and beverages to the satisfaction of our guests, brand and ensures all safety, health and hygiene requirements are consistently met Hires, coaches and disciplines direct reports. Inventory, ordering supplies Acts as the "Service Champion" for the Front Office and creates a positive atmosphere for guest relations Ensures recognition of employees is taking place across areas of responsibility. Reviews staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met. Reviews comment cards, guest satisfaction results and other data to identify areas of improvement. Solicits employee feedback, utilizes an "open door" policy, and reviews employee satisfaction results to identify and address employee problems or concerns. Regularly reviews department budget to meet budgeted wages and general expenses. Monitors VIP arrivals. Acts as Manager on Duty as required. Works nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary. Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Basic math skills Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing Strong leadership skills Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members Excellent time management skills In-depth knowledge of hotel Front Desk operations and Food and Beverage Operations. Education And Experience Minimum of a high school diploma or certificate, post high school education and degree preferred Minimum of three (3) years in similar leadership role. (I.E. Operations Manager, Front desk supervisor, Food and Beverage Manager, etc.) The hiring process may consist of a phone interview, manager(s) interview, drug screen, background check, reference checks, and potential employment assessment.
