This position is responsible for supporting the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and operationally sound therapy services in accordance with California state law, professional standards of practice, and organizational guidelines. This position is classified as Exempt and reports to the Facility Administrator and the supervising licensed Physical Therapist. Core responsibilities include Coordinating the day-to-day operations of the outpatient therapy program in alignment with the supervising Physical Therapist's clinical direction and organizational standards Assisting in the recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and day-to-day supervision of outpatient therapy support staff in accordance with applicable scope of practice regulations Supporting program quality monitoring through data collection, outcome tracking, patient satisfaction review, and operational reporting Maintaining scheduling, caseload coordination, and productivity systems to ensure efficient and high-quality patient experiences Supporting compliance with all applicable federal, state, and California outpatient therapy regulations, payer requirements, and documentation standards Assisting with outpatient billing coordination, authorization follow-up, and documentation accuracy in collaboration with the billing team Supporting referral relationship coordination and community outreach activities under the direction of facility administration Serving as a primary operational liaison between the outpatient therapy program and facility leadership, communicating program needs, performance, and opportunities Maintaining a personal clinical caseload as a licensed PTA as appropriate to the program model and operational needs Participating in facility leadership meetings, quality assurance initiatives, and strategic planning as assigned Maintaining compliance with HIPAA, patient rights, OSHA, infection control, and all applicable California PTA scope of practice and outpatient therapy standards Treating all patients, staff, and community partners with dignity, respect, and compassionate professionalism What You Bring
