The role focuses on leading the development of high-quality supplemental math curriculum and instructional resources grounded in evidence-based practices and aligned with educational standards. You will collaborate across product, engineering, marketing, and implementation teams to create engaging, classroom-ready solutions that support educators and improve student outcomes. This position combines strategic instructional leadership with hands-on content development and continuous product improvement. It offers the chance to influence the future of math instruction while working alongside teams dedicated to supporting schools and teachers nationwide. \n Accountabilities: Lead the instructional vision, coherence, and quality of K–8 math products and supplemental curriculum materials. Drive the development, revision, and continuous improvement of lessons, assessments, routines, and teacher-facing instructional supports. Ensure all instructional content aligns with evidence-based practices, state standards, and classroom implementation needs. Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, software engineers, designers, and go-to-market teams to deliver scalable and user-friendly learning solutions. Manage and guide internal and external content developers, contractors, and third-party partners to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables. Establish and maintain content development processes, templates, and quality assurance standards across product initiatives. Support customer-facing teams by providing instructional expertise, product insights, and classroom implementation guidance. Participate in educator feedback sessions, pilot programs, and district engagements to inform product strategy and enhancements. Represent the organization at conferences, webinars, and professional learning events through presentations and thought leadership initiatives. Contribute to strategic proposal development and adoption presentations for district and state-level opportunities. Requirements Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Mathematics Education, Curriculum & Instruction, or a related field strongly preferred. 7+ years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or educational product development focused on mathematics. Strong background in K–8 math instruction and evidence-based instructional practices. Experience managing instructional content teams, freelance writers, or third-party development partners. Proven ability to work cross-functionally with product, engineering, design, and customer-facing teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex instructional concepts clearly. Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously. Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to instructional quality and continuous improvement. Experience presenting at conferences, webinars, or educational events is highly valued. Passion for improving educational outcomes through innovative and accessible instructional solutions. Benefits Competitive salary range of $140,000 to $150,000 annually.
