Director of Sales – Immediate Full Time Opportunity Bronx, NY RiverSpring Living is seeking a Director of Sales to join our dynamic team! The RiverSpring Living campus is set on 32 acres overlooking the Hudson River, in Riverdale, New York. RiverSpring Living provides a full range of care solutions including nursing home care, managed long term care, assisted living programs, senior housing, rehabilitation services and specialized services such as elder abuse prevention and memory care. Position Overview The Director of Sales is an integral part of the RiverSpring Continuum of Care which includes the Senior Living Sales and Marking Division. This role is responsible for building and growing the senior housing census in the following areas of housing: Independent Living Apartments (RiverWalk), RiverSpring Senior Housing Private Pay and Medicaid, Assisted Living and Memory Care (collectively, “Housing”). Position will direct the sales functions of Housing including effectively selling the RiverSpring Living continuum of care through networking, event planning, sales, public relations, community events and developing relationships with the surrounding community of health care providers and referral sources. Primary Responsibilities: Appropriate reporting of community outreach effort outcomes and direction on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Managing a staff of salespeople and a move-in coordinator, training the sales team, and ensuring that the team meets or exceeds goals for contracts, tours and sales and accurate and timely data entry into the CRM system. Develops strategic plans for the marketing and selling of Housing; prepares and completes action plans; implements production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolves problems; complete audits; identifies trends. Building collaboration and networking within and outside of the continuum of care. Including but not limited to Geriatric Care Managers, senior living associations, healthcare related groups, hospital discharge planners, ESSAL association, community-based organizations. Prepare reports as required by administration including weekly outreach reports, traffic and census reports. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) preferred from an accredited college or university in marketing, business management, business administration, communication, health care administration or a related field, Experience in sales and marketing, preferably with senior housing or in the healthcare facility hospitality industry (e.g., hotel) Five years of progressive management experience required.
