Description TITLE: Director of School Base Services SUMMARY Provides administrative supervision to the staff providing school-based services. This includes grant and district funded positions. Reports, monitors, communicates with and maintains compliance with state, local, and school district funding sources and stakeholders, and CARF standards and requirements. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Education : Masters degree in behavioral health and/or social services field required. Licensure: Must possess highest level of licensure appropriate to degree. Experience: Experience in behavioral health and/or social services, to include the treatment of mental health disorders, is required and supervisory experience preferred. Knowledge/Skills : Verbal/written communication skills Ability to maintain composure in difficult situations Ability to represent service continuum and Frontier Health effectively in varied situations EQUIPMENT Computer, fax, copier and any other equipment required to perform the functions of the position. ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBLILITIES Trains, evaluates performance, and develops corrective action plans when necessary, with employees related to compliance with grant, school and funding source expectations and requirements. Organizes and schedules supervisor work activities. Maintains a safe work environment by identifying and correcting potentially unsafe conditions and work practices. Maintains a positive working climate within and across departmental functions. Establishes and enforces productivity standards of staff.
