The Director of Supply Chain & Production will lead the end-to-end global sourcing and production strategy for a fast-paced Sports apparel business, with a strong emphasis on cost engineering, margin improvement, speed to market, and operational controls. This role owns the full production lifecycle—from development handoff through bulk production—and is accountable for delivery performance, supplier optimization, and team leadership. This position requires deep experience in quick turn and team sports apparel manufacturing, along with the ability to scale and lead high performing global teams. Key Responsibilities Global Sourcing & Production Leadership Lead the end-to-end global sourcing strategy with a focus on cost optimization, margin delivery and quality, Own production planning, capacity management, and factory allocation to ensure one-time and full delivery. Drive continuous improvement through cost engineering, vendor negotiations, and process optimization. Team Leadership & Development Lead global team of sourcing managers, production managers and QC. Establish clear performance metrics, development plans, and strategies. Foster strong cross functional collaboration with Design, Product Development, Sales, and Finance. Risk, Compliance & Sustainability Oversee ethical sourcing and sustainability initiatives across the global supply chain. Ensure all manufacturing partners comply with social, environmental, and chemical requirements, including standards such as OEKO‑TEX and bluesign®. Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks related to capacity, compliance, geopolitical factors, and raw materials. Qualifications & Experience Experience 10–15 years of progressive experience in apparel sourcing, production, or supply chain management. Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role managing global sourcing and production teams. Global Travel and understanding of manufacturing in other countries. Proven success negotiating costs, improving margins, and managing complex global vendor networks. Strong experience with quick turn and team sports apparel manufacturing. Deep understanding of fabrics, trims, and the product development lifecycle. Education Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field required. MBA or MS in Global Supply Chain or a related discipline preferred. Pay: $89,998.29 - $125,385.03 per year Work Location: In person
