Job Title: Director Surgical Services Location: San Jose, CA Job Type: Full Time Salary Range: $184K - $276K with full suite of benefits Sign-on Bonus: Incentive Bonus of Up To 17.5% Relocation Fee: Case by case Job Summary and Qualifications: The Director of Surgical Services ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall function and staffing of the unit(s)/department(s) in addition to forecasting, planning, and budget monitoring. The Director fosters a culture of accountability and collaboration and supports the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and procedures in support of facility objectives. Duties: Implements evidence-based practices and standards to ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance. Optimizes patient throughput and flow coordination to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Directs nursing operations and strategy to enhance the patient experience and service excellence. Builds high-performing teams through recruitment, coaching, and fostering a culture of engagement. Drives growth by collaborating with physicians to expand services and implement new technologies. Oversees departmental budgets, labor productivity, and cost-reduction efforts to ensure fiscal health. Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing Required Master's Degree Preferred Experience: 1+ years of recent leadership experience in Surgical Services Required (Director or Strong Managerial Experience) 3+ years applicable Surgical Services experience Required
