A company is looking for a Director, Underwriting Strategy & Governance. Key Responsibilities Mentor and coach underwriters to enhance technical expertise and consistency in decisions Develop and deliver underwriting training programs in collaboration with leadership Support the execution of underwriting strategy and governance standards Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related work experience required 10+ years of life underwriting experience Demonstrated underwriting signing authority of $20M Experience mentoring underwriters or in a technical leadership role Professional designations such as ACS, ALU, FLMI, FALU, or CLU preferred
