Job Summary The Director, Supply Chain Planning will lead supply execution processes that support Tatcha’s global product availability and operational performance. This role oversees supply planning, manufacturing coordination, production planning, and inventory strategy across our global network. You will operate at the center of Tatcha’s supply chain, partnering closely with Demand Planning, Commercial, Product Development, Sourcing, Logistics, and Finance teams to translate business priorities into executable supply and production plans. This role is responsible for aligning demand signals with manufacturing capacity, optimizing inventory investments, and ensuring reliable product availability across channels. In addition to operational leadership, this role will advance the maturity of our planning processes, systems, and analytics to support continued growth. You will drive cross-functional alignment, improve planning responsiveness, and strengthen the connection between demand signals and supply execution. This is a highly visible leadership role that combines strategic thinking with operational rigor. The successful candidate will bring strong analytical instincts, deep supply chain experience, and the ability to build scalable processes that support a fast-growing global brand. Key Responsibilities Supply Planning Translate demand signals into executable supply, manufacturing, and inventory strategies while balancing capacity constraints, service levels, and inventory targets Drive cross-functional alignment across demand planning, sourcing, manufacturing partners, logistics, finance, and commercial teams to support product availability and business objectives Ensure operational readiness for product launches, promotions, and key commercial initiatives through strong cross-functional coordination and planning discipline Continuously improve planning processes, governance, and decision-making frameworks to increase speed, accuracy, and agility across the end-to-end supply chain Manufacturing & Production Lead supply and production (e.g., MRP, MPS) planning across Tatcha’s global manufacturing network, aligning production schedules, inventory targets, and demand requirements in close partnership with sourcing and manufacturing team Manage trade-offs across service levels, production efficiency, lead times, and working capital while balancing volume purchasing advantages against target weeks of supply (TWOS) Monitor manufacturing capacity, material availability, and supply risks across contract manufacturers and suppliers, proactively addressing disruptions and improving end-to-end visibility and coordination Navigate tariff volatility and geopolitical dynamics while optimizing the company’s global supply strategy and manufacturing footprint Inventory & Performance Management Own the strategy and performance of inventory across finished goods and components, balancing service levels, supply reliability, and working capital efficiency Define and track key supply chain metrics including inventory health, forecast alignment, and supply plan performance, developing dashboards and reporting frameworks that improve visibility and decision-making Drive initiatives that improve inventory turns, reduce excess and obsolete inventory, and strengthen overall supply chain efficiency New Product Development (NPD) & Commercialization Partner cross-functionally to ensure successful product launches by integrating supply chain strategy into the end-to-end product development lifecycle Lead supply chain readiness for all new product launches, ensuring alignment across Product Development, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Commercial teams Identify and mitigate risks related to materials, capacity, lead times, and scalability to ensure on-time, in-full launches Drive clear decision-making across trade-offs (cost, speed, quality, and complexity) during development and pre-launch phases Ensure smooth transition from launch to steady-state operations through strong planning discipline and cross-functional coordinati
