Job Description
About Us We are a staffing services technology company that helps organizations design, build, and scale digital products and engineering capabilities. Our teams deliver end-to-end software development, engineering, and design services, and we provide flexible staffing solutions to augment internal teams with specialized talent—quickly and reliably. The Role We are looking for a results-driven Director of Talent Acquisition to join our distributed People leadership team. Whether you are a seasoned Recruiting Manager looking to own the full strategic scope or an experienced Head of Talent ready to scale a high-growth engineering organization, we have a spot for you on our ladder. You will own the full candidate lifecycle, bridging the gap between headcount planning, employer branding, and operational excellence to ensure we attract and hire the world's best talent. What You’ll Do Strategy & Scale: Design, implement, and execute a scalable talent acquisition strategy that supports aggressive growth targets across Engineering, Product, Sales, and G&A. Collaborate: Work closely with the Executive Team, Finance, and Hiring Managers in an Agile environment to define headcount forecasts, hiring prioritization, and capacity planning. Operations & Analytics: Ensure high efficiency in the recruiting funnel; implement robust reporting on key metrics (Time to Fill, Cost per Hire, Pass-through Rates) and conduct post-hiring analysis (Quality of Hire). Employer Branding: Architect and lead our employer brand strategy across social media, tech communities, and events to position the company as a top-tier destination for remote talent. Sourcing & Pipeline: Build and maintain creative sourcing strategies to uncover passive talent; lead "Headhunting" initiatives for critical executive and niche technical roles. DE&I Leadership: Implement rigorous inclusive hiring practices, from writing unbiased job descriptions to structuring diverse interview panels and sourcing from underrepresented communities. Mentorship: Mentor and manage a team of Recruiters, Sourcers, and Coordinators; provide training to hiring managers on interviewing best practices and bias reduction. Vendor & Tooling: Manage relationships with external search firms, agencies, and software vendors; optimize the recruiting tech stack (ATS, CRM, Sourcing tools) for automation and compliance. What We’re Looking For Experience: 7+ years of professional Talent Acquisition experience, with at least 3 years leading a recruiting team in a high-growth environment. Technical Recruiting: Strong background in recruiting for technical roles (Software Engineering, DevOps, Data, Product); you understand the difference between Java and JavaScript and know where engineers hang out. Global Hiring: Proficiency hiring in a distributed/remote context; familiarity with international hiring nuances (contractors vs. EOR vs. entities). Data-Driven: Deep expertise in using data to diagnose funnel issues and forecast hiring timelines; you live in spreadsheets and dashboards. Tech Stack: Extensive experience with modern ATS platforms (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby) and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, SeekOut). Process Design: A proven track record of building structured interview processes (Bar Raiser programs, Scorecards) that improve decision quality and reduce bias. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to craft compelling outreach messages and negotiate complex offers with senior candidates. Sales Mindset: You view recruiting as a sales function; you are tenacious, relationship-focused, and know how to close. Bonus Points Certifications: Certifications in strategic talent management or specific interviewing methodologies (e.g., "Who" method, Topgrading). Executive Search: Direct experience executing retained search or hiring C-Level executives without external agencies. Marketing Background: Previous experience in marketing or communications applied to Recruitment Marketing . Automation: Experience using automation tools (Zapier, UiPath) to streamline recruiting workflows. Open Source/Community: Active participation in recruiting communities or contributions to open-source hiring frameworks. <
