This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Director, Total Rewards in the United States. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic and hands-on Total Rewards leader to shape and scale compensation, equity, benefits, and wellness programs within a fast-growing biopharmaceutical environment. In this role, you will partner closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to develop innovative, competitive, and compliant rewards strategies that support business growth and attract top-tier talent. You will play a critical role in aligning rewards programs with organizational goals while fostering a high-performance and employee-centric culture. The position offers broad exposure across executive compensation, benefits operations, global rewards governance, and workforce analytics. Ideal for a collaborative and data-driven professional, this role combines strategic influence with operational execution in a fully remote and mission-driven organization. You will have the opportunity to directly impact employee experience, organizational scalability, and long-term talent retention. \n Accountabilities: Develop and lead a comprehensive total rewards strategy aligned with organizational growth, talent priorities, and business objectives. Oversee compensation structures including base salary, incentive plans, equity programs, bonus cycles, and long-term incentives to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity. Partner with executive leadership, Finance, and Legal teams to support executive compensation initiatives and Board or Compensation Committee activities. Manage compensation benchmarking, pay equity analysis, and market pricing strategies to support effective talent attraction and retention. Design and administer competitive benefits and wellness programs including healthcare, retirement, leave management, wellbeing initiatives, and employee allowances. Lead vendor management, benefits renewals, and compliance initiatives related to compensation and benefits regulations. Develop reporting dashboards and analytics to evaluate program effectiveness, workforce trends, cost optimization, and employee engagement. Support organizational growth initiatives, transformation projects, and cross-functional collaboration while serving as a trusted advisor on rewards-related matters. Drive employee communications, education, and training programs related to compensation, benefits enrollment, and wellness initiatives. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. 10+ years of progressive experience in total rewards, including leadership across compensation and benefits functions. Experience within biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, or another highly regulated and complex industry environment. Strong expertise in executive compensation, equity administration, long-term incentive programs, and compensation governance. Proven ability to partner with executive stakeholders, Compensation Committees, and senior leadership teams. Proficiency with HRIS platforms, compensation management systems, and equity administration tools. Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and financial acumen with a data-driven approach to decision-making. Excellent communication, executive presence, and stakeholder management capabilities. Ability to navigate ambiguity, lead change initiatives, and manage multiple priorities in a high-growth environment. Advanced degree or professional certifications such as CCP, CBP, GRP, or CEBS are considered a plus. Global total rewards experience and prior support of commercial-stage organizations are highly valued. Benefits Competitive salary range between $190,000 and $215,000 annually.
