About APC: Advanced Precast Company (APC) is a precast concrete manufacturing facility located in Dyersville, Iowa. APC produces various concrete wall panels for architectural and structural facilities located throughout the Midwest. Job Summary: Perform disassembly and cleaning of forms on bed lines in a concrete precast production facility. Responsibilities include dismantling and cleaning forms, preparing and maintaining bed lines, cutting out forms for panel removal, and ensuring finished products meet quality standards. Perform physical tasks such as climbing, material handling, using hand tools, sanding, repairing bed lines, and maintaining a clean work environment. Shift schedule is 2:00 P.M. – 10:00 P.M (approximately). The following duties are typical for this job. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assist with disassemble of forms of poured concrete panels and cleaning bed lines. Collaborate with production team members to maintain workflow and meet production schedules. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Cutting out forms and preparing for concrete wall panels to be removed from the bed lines. Cleaning forms of excess concrete, debris, and framing materials. Clean up and disposal of removed items and materials. Climb up and down from the bed line form surface. Carry materials to the bed line to be used in tearing down the form. Work with various hand tools Sand and repair bed lines as needed. Assist with other tasks related to precast concrete production as needed. Required Skills/Abilities: Ability to listen to, understand, and follow directions. Ability to remain flexible as specific assignments change. Dedicated and self-motivating work ethic. Reliability. Ability to work in a team environment or independently as well as with a variety of personalities. Ability to perform basic arithmetic as needed. Education and Experience Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Previous experience in precast environment preferred Physical Requirements: Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas. Must be able to lift and carry at least 75 pounds at a time. Must be able to stand between eight and twelve hours per day.
