Overview: Overview of Role / Role Purpose The Discovery Analyst role has accountability for identification of new and current systems or applications, data repositories, Saas solutions, and digital systems targeted for GTS M&A activities. The Discovery Analyst is required to accurately uncover all systems considered in-scope for the M&A project, recognize required access for current user base, and anticipate future disposition of each system within the Gallagher Enterprise. The role will conduct site visits with M&A targets, both virtual and in-person, to investigate and gain a complete understanding of their IT environment. They will produce documentation for system design, infrastructure requirements, security assessment, data structure, and systems identification for the entire scope of the M&A project. This position will report to the Due Diligence and Discovery Lead, presenting findings and recommendations to senior leadership supporting Global M&A integrations. Core Responsibilities Capture and detail existing IT Infrastructure and networking estate of an acquisition target including in-depth investigation and subsequent reporting and highlighting of security risks and remediation activity needed to ensure compliance with Gallagher standards.
