Duties Thoroughly wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing machines or manual cleaning methods. Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing stations and storage areas to ensure a safe and efficient workspace. Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables or assembling ingredients as needed to support kitchen operations. Support bussing duties by clearing tables promptly and ensuring dining areas remain tidy during service hours. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes for food service, catering events, or banquet functions. Follow proper food handling and safety protocols to prevent contamination and uphold health standards. Assist with general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping floors, and disposing of waste to maintain a hygienic environment. Skills Strong understanding of food handling safety and sanitation standards. Experience in food service environments such as restaurants, hotels, catering events, or banquet halls. Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of basic kitchen operations including bussing, food preparation, and cleaning procedures. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers. Prior experience in culinary settings or hospitality environments is highly desirable. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads when necessary.
