Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Dishwasher/Food Prep! Duties Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly to uphold sanitation standards. Prepare ingredients and basic food items as directed by chefs or kitchen managers, including chopping, slicing, and assembling components for meals. Assist with food presentation and plating during busy service times to ensure timely delivery of dishes. Support catering and banquet events by setting up stations, replenishing supplies, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the event. Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas by sweeping, mopping, wiping down surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene compliance at all times. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and uphold a positive work environment. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, catering, or hospitality is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key! Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and kitchen safety protocols. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy trays or containers. Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail-oriented work ethic. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude in fast-paced environments. Familiarity with food handling regulations and sanitation standards is a plus. Experience in banquet settings or hotel kitchens is advantageous but not mandatory.
