Duties Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly to maintain cleanliness and safety standards Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning food items Support the catering team by preparing ingredients and maintaining organized workstations for banquet events Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health and safety regulations Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces regularly Help with bussing tables and clearing plates during service to support smooth restaurant operations Follow proper food storage protocols to prevent contamination and spoilage Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided Familiarity with food handling safety practices and sanitation standards is advantageous Experience with catering or banquet settings adds value but is not mandatory Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments Willingness to learn new skills related to culinary prep and kitchen operations Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending comfortably This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to build a foundation in hospitality, culinary arts, or food service industries.
