Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Food Prep team member to support our busy kitchen operations. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient food service environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, food handling, and culinary support, ensuring that all dishes and kitchen areas meet high standards of cleanliness and readiness for service. Prior experience in restaurant, catering, or hotel kitchens is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. Responsibilities Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met. Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and basic cooking under supervision. Support food service operations by bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas. Prepare ingredients for meal service in accordance with safety and quality standards. Help with catering setups and banquet events as needed. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure hygiene and compliance with health regulations. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas throughout shifts. Assist in inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying management of stock needs. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hotel kitchens is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety practices. Familiarity with cleaning procedures related to culinary environments. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards hospitality service. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads (up to 50 pounds). Culinary or hospitality experience such as serving or banquet work is a plus but not mandatory.
