Job Description
Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards Assist with menu planning and catering for special events Handle food in a safe and sanitary manner, following proper food handling procedures Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwasher or by hand Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen area Assist with food preparation as needed Qualifications: Previous experience in a similar role preferred Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Strong knife skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques Experience working in a dietary department or culinary setting is a plus Excellent teamwork and communication skills Please note that this position may require standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy objects.
