This position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all dishes, glasses, silverware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment. The Dishwasher also ensures the dish room and dish machine remain in proper working order and meet cleanliness standards. This role provides valuable exposure to kitchen operations, offering opportunities to learn additional responsibilities and grow into positions such as Dietary Server or Cook. Responsibilities: Maintain the dish station, and support HACCP policies and procedures in the service of Patients, Residents, and Guests. Set up carts with ice water and iced tea. Presoak for silverware. Tray line with napkins, wrapped silverware, trays, lids for plates, place mats. Stage trays for server on the line with tray, napkin, pallet, menu card, silverware. Sweep and mop floors. Remove trash. Other duties as assigned. Background Check & Drug Screen Requirement Employment is contingent upon successfully passing both a State and Federal background check and a drug and alcohol screening . Testing includes screening for both illegal and legal substances , including cannabis (THC) . Job Requirements: Must have oral and written English communication skills, as well as basic math. Must have outstanding customer service skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment. Willingness to learn Ability to work a flexible schedule.
