Duties Clean and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, and pots to uphold high standards of hygiene and ensure a steady flow of equipment for the kitchen and dining room. Perform floor care tasks such as mopping, sweeping, and ensuring the kitchen floor remains spotless and safe for staff. Handle janitorial duties efficiently by cleaning and sanitizing work surfaces, kitchen equipment, and trash removal areas according to established protocols. Assist with industrial cleaning projects when needed, utilizing specialized equipment for deep cleaning of kitchen stations and storage areas. Support kitchen management by organizing supplies, reporting maintenance issues, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Provide exceptional hospitality by assisting the culinary team with basic prep tasks or organization as needed with a positive attitude. Follow all health and safety guidelines to create a secure environment for guests and staff alike. Skills Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality environments with a focus on quality service. Strong floor care skills including vacuuming, mopping, and maintenance of kitchen surfaces. Previous hotel or kitchen experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued highly. Knowledge of janitorial procedures and industrial cleaning techniques to handle diverse kitchen challenges effectively. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Ability to follow instructions carefully while maintaining a positive attitude toward teamwork and kitchen safety.
