Job Summary: The Dishwasher is a line level position that ensures day-to-day tasks of the facility are met.The Dishwasher is responsible for knowing, understanding, and upholding company policies and procedures. Accountabilities: The Dishwasher will be accountable for successfully executing the following Responsibilities: Clean dishes, glasses, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchenware - Properly sort and organize clean dishes and utensils for easy access by kitchen and service staff - Properly dispose of waste and manage garbage, making sure that bins are emptied regularly and cleaned - Assist with basic food prep tasks and other duties as needed or as directed by the manager on duty - Replenish cleaning supplies and dishwashing detergents as necessary - Report any broken or damaged dishes and utensils to management, and follow procedures for safely handling and disposing of broken items - Maintain workstations by keeping all areas and equipment clean, sanitized, stocked, and organized - Follow all health and food safety regulations, including proper food handling and hygiene practices - Be aware of and follow safety procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe environment for both guests and staff - Follow all opening, running, and closing procedures - Operate equipment properly and report any maintenance issues or malfunctions to management - Work and communicate effectively with other staff members and management to ensure a positive work environment - Participate in all training sessions and meetings as required to stay updated on procedures, new menu items, and company policies - Abide by all company policies and procedures Key Collaborative Partnerships: The success of this role is dependent on strong working relationships, collaboration, and alignment with the following internal and external stakeholders: Managers Supervisors Employees/Coworkers Success Measures/Outcomes Expected: A high level of customer satisfaction Flexibility and effectiveness in collaborating with others Adaptability and problem-solving, calmly handling high-pressure situations Proper communication to coworkers, management, and guests Effective execution of opening, running, and closing side work Consistency in performance (Cleanliness and quality of dishes, efficient turnaround time for washing and restocking) Consistent attendance and punctuality for shifts Adherence to safety and sanitation standards Adherence to all company policies and procedures Qualifications Required: Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays Interpersonal and communication skills Strong task and time management skills / Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Experience/Knowledge Required: Preferably related experience in a dynamic restaurant atmosphere Comprehension of basic mathematics skills to understand recipes, measurements, requisition amounts, and portion sizes Physical Requirements: Candidates must meet physical requirements to effectively perform job responsibilities.This includes standing for long periods of time, walking, sitting, utilization of hands and arms, maneuvering up and down stairs with no difficulty, and lifting up to fifty pounds Pay:$16.00 - $20.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Flexible schedule Work Location:In person.
