In this crucial role, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients and will play a pivotal role in coordinating and managing our team of engineers. Responsibilities As a Consulting Dispatcher, your main responsibilities will include: Managing the dispatch of our engineering consultants to client sites, ensuring efficient scheduling and optimal utilization of resources. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements and timelines, and coordinating accordingly. Tracking and monitoring the progress of dispatched engineers, providing updates to clients and management as necessary. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, gaining a deep understanding of their needs and expectations to ensure the best level of service. Handling emergency dispatch situations promptly and professionally, coordinating with relevant parties to resolve issues swiftly. Utilizing dispatch software to record, track, and analyze dispatch activities, using this data to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes. Assisting in the development and implementation of dispatch policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency. Qualifications The ideal candidate for our Consulting Dispatcher position will have the following qualifications: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a dispatch coordination role, preferably within the engineering industry. Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with a proven track record of managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey information to a variety of stakeholders. Proficiency in using dispatch software and other relevant computer applications. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think quickly and make effective decisions in high-pressure situations. A customer-focused mindset, with a commitment to providing exceptional service to both internal and external clients. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is desirable, but not required. Prior experience in the engineering industry will be highly regarded.
