Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Home Improvement Dispatcher to coordinate and schedule service appointments for our field technicians.The dispatcher will act as the communication hub between customers, technicians, and management to ensure timely and efficient completion of home improvement projects.Key Responsibilities Schedule and dispatch technicians for home improvement services such as repairs, installations, and maintenance.Communicate job details, locations, and timelines to field technicians.Monitor daily job schedules and adjust routes or assignments as needed.Answer customer calls and provide updates on appointment times.Maintain accurate records of service requests, technician availability, and job completion status.Coordinate with project managers to prioritize urgent or high-value jobs.Handle last-minute schedule changes, cancellations, or emergency service requests.Ensure technicians have the necessary job information, materials, and instructions before dispatch.Required Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent.Previous experience in dispatching, scheduling, or customer service preferred (construction or home services industry is a plus).Strong organizational and multitasking skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle scheduling changes.Proficiency with scheduling software, spreadsheets, and basic office tools.Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with dispatch or CRM software.Strong problem-solving and coordination abilities.Work Environment Office-based role with frequent phone and computer use.Interaction with technicians, contractors, and customers throughout the day.Pay:$24.59 - $29.61 per hour Work Location:In person.
